Data from Denmark (NaviAir) is now received by EMADDC in real time through NewPENS. Data from CANI (Czech Republic) is currently being tested and is expected to move to the R2.2 operational system in 2026. ENAIRE (Spain) is also testing data delivery via NewPENS, and data from Slovenia Control (si-si-ctrl) will be received in real time from 2026 as well.
Discussions are ongoing with other ANSPs about transitioning to real-time data delivery through NewPENS. In addition, providers of receiver network data have been invited to join EMADDC in this move toward real-time delivery and processing required for EMADDC 3.0. Several parties have responded positively and are preparing for the transition, while others have indicated that they are unable to accommodate the change. In those cases, this may result in reduced coverage over the affected areas.
