EMADDC's sources that transmit data via ftpservice.knmi.nl are currently impacted, resulting in the processing of only as-met and muac data. Products containing just data from these sources have been published on the FTP service, albeit less frequently.
A temporary workaround has been implemented since 9:30 UTC, which allows for data retrieval with an increased delay. Data that was missed in the past hours is being reprocessed, and any data not older than 2 hours is being published on the FTP server.
Update 19/12
The issue was ultimately resolved in the afternoon of December 17th. The EMADDC processing on AWS successfully handled the delayed data without impacting the processing of the "on-time" data. This capability was not achievable with the older systems that were in operation until September 2024, thereby serving as an effective stress test for the new systems with improved funtionality.
Unfortunately, in the afternoon of 17/12/2024, MUAC performed scheduled maintenance on their FTP server, which is used by EMADDC to retrieve MUAC data. This maintenance took longer than anticipated and resulted in some unforeseen issues, which were finally resolved this morning. As a result, EMADDC processing is now running normally.
